मन – a reflection of heart
A series of illustrations created during the month of Sravana; the fifth month of Hindu calendar.
The month marks the beginning of monsoon and as well as a lot of auspicious festivals.
Sravana begins and ends on the days of full moon.
Somehow I have always connected with the month as a reflection of ones’ home,love and belonging—
a bond that one has with a place, environment, music or just the feeling of being there at a specific time.
मन – a reflection of heart is an attempt to visually reflect the emotion of what I feel as home, a sense of being secured from within. My sole inspiration has been my very beautiful city, Jaipur, that will always have my heart.
